More Than Just My Work: I love animals and try to live without using animal-based products as much as possible.
One of my greatest joys is diving off my paddleboard into the lake waters.
I lived in Japan for two years and I hope to spend time living abroad again in retirement
βWhat lies behind you and what lies in front of you, pales in comparison to what lies within you.β
My life journey has been far from linear and it is because of the unconditional support I received from others that I learned to embrace unexpected turns as opportunities for growth.
Over the years, I have found solace and internal balance through continuous learning, movement, nature, play, and genuine connections. I am dedicated to fostering a supportive environment where I can assist others in navigating their own unique paths toward balance, health, and healing.
I aim to create a space where my clients feel safe, heard, respected, and valued. No matter the age or life experience, I believe each person's story has invaluable insights to offer and I hope to support clients in exploring the wisdom that their life holds.
I have over 15 years of experience supporting children, youth, and families in Sarnia-Lambton. I have obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Anthropology, and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. I have extensive training in attachment and the early years, parenting, trauma-focused, and multicultural interventions. As well, I am well-versed in CBT and Circle of Securityβ’. I am currently enjoying learning more about DBT, somatic-based therapies, and Internal Family Systems therapies.
