More Than Just My Work: In my free time you will find me enjoying the outdoors with my three adult children and husband camping, boating and hiking. I love to travel and learn new things and at the same time being mindful of the calm peaceful moments sitting on the beach watching the sunset.
I know we all have life challenges that come our way and reaching out for support can feel overwhelming. I am glad that you are here and I am here to support you through your journey.
My approach to clients is engaging and supportive and I genuinely care about the clients I see. I am process, goal oriented and skills based and want clients to walk away from counselling getting what they need to make positive and lasting changes in their life.
I am a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and a member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers. I have over 30 years of experience working with both adults and children. For the past 10 years I have worked primarily with adults dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma and grief. I have facilitated numerous Groups for individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, suicide loss and parents who were recently separated to support co-parenting.
