Locations: Point Edward, Petrolia & Virtual

More Than Just My Work: Outside of therapy, I’m a proud mom to two beautiful children and the human to two quirky cats. I love spending time with my family, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, and occasionally unwinding with some knitting. These parts of my life keep me grounded and remind me of the importance of balance and connection — both of which I bring into my therapeutic approach.

You do not have to be fearless. Doing it afraid is just as brave.

About Me
Hi, I’m Ashith! I’m a Registered Social Worker with a Master’s in Social Work and several years of experience supporting individuals, couples, and families through life’s tough moments. My background includes working in community health, schools, and virtual therapy spaces — all of which have shaped my down-to-earth, compassionate, and collaborative approach.

I work with young adults, couples, and folks dealing with relationship challenges, family trauma, anxiety, and big life transitions. I use a mix of CBT, DBT, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, always through a trauma-informed lens. Therapy with me is a place where you can feel safe, seen, and supported — and where we can explore what healing and growth look like for you.

My Why
My journey into social work and therapy was deeply influenced by an experience during my Master’s program. I was placed with an agency in Delhi, India, supporting women impacted by domestic violence and sexual abuse. As part of my placement, I conducted a needs-based survey in a densely populated urban slum. Many women were hesitant to engage with me, some fearing that I was there to interfere in their families, and others believing that physical abuse was simply part of marriage. One day, I met a woman who had just been assaulted by her husband. She looked at me and said, “Women like us need women like you.” Her words have never left me. Her words became a guiding light in my journey, reminding me of the power of showing up, listening, and walking beside others through their healing. It’s why I do what I do — and why I remain deeply committed to this work.

My Hope
I want my clients to leave each session feeling a little more grounded, more hopeful, and more in control. Whether we’re working through anxiety, relationship struggles, or something deeper, my goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable showing up as your full self. I hope you feel stronger, more connected, and more equipped to face whatever life brings.
