More Than Just My Work: I enjoy spending time outdoors in nature, as well as curling up on the couch with a book or watching a movie. You can always count on seeing me with an iced coffee in hand!
“Shame dies when stories are shared in safe spaces.”
My Why
Doing this work is a privilege for me because I've personally experienced the healing impact that therapy can have, and I hope to help others experience the same.
There are many reasons why I am passionate about mental health, psychotherapy, and social justice. Being able to walk alongside people during some of life's most challenging moments is incredibly meaningful to me, and I feel grateful to do this work every day.
My Hope
My hope is that every client feels safe, heard, and genuinely understood. I approach therapy as my authentic self, creating a warm, compassionate space where you can explore your experiences, emotions, and challenges without judgment.
Together, I hope we can help you better understand yourself, navigate life's challenges, build practical coping strategies, and move toward greater confidence, self-empowerment, and hope.
About Me
I am a Registered Social Worker with both a Bachelor of Social Work and a Master of Social Work from the University of Windsor.
I have more than five years of experience providing community-based mental health support and have worked alongside individuals navigating a wide range of biological, psychological, and social challenges. Throughout my career, I have provided holistic, person-centered care, facilitated therapeutic groups, and supported individuals experiencing crisis.
I enjoy working with individuals from all walks of life and tailor therapy to each person's unique experiences, goals, and strengths. In addition to supporting a wide range of mental health concerns, I have a special interest in working with women experiencing Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). To further support this area of practice, I have completed specialized training in Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (I-CBT), an evidence-based approach developed specifically for the treatment of OCD.
I look forward to creating a space where you feel supported, understood, and empowered as we work toward the changes that matter most to you.
