I’m a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers, and I specialize in trauma recovery, perinatal mental health, and grief counselling. With 15 years of experience in settings like community counselling, health care, child welfare, and palliative care, I’m here to help you navigate life’s challenges with empathy and understanding.

Healing Trauma and Loss with EMDR As an EMDR Certified Therapist, I use Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to support individuals in processing and healing from trauma and loss. This evidence-based approach is highly effective for addressing distressing memories and experiences.

Supporting Perinatal Mental Health I am passionate about helping individuals and families through their perinatal journeyβ€”from conception to postpartum. As a Certified Perinatal Mental Health Professional through Postpartum Support International, I address concerns such as prenatal anxiety and depression, birth trauma, and postpartum mood disorders. I understand how overwhelming pregnancy and new parenthood can be, and I’m here to help you build resilience, develop coping skills, and find balance during this transformative time.

Strengthening Couples in Parenthood In addition to individual support, I work with expecting and new parents to strengthen their relationships. As a Bringing Baby Home Educator through the Gottman Institute and having completed Levels 1 and 2 of the Gottman Method of Couples Therapy training, I help couples improve their connection, friendship, and communication. My goal is to support you and your partner in navigating the challenges of early parenthood while fostering a strong and loving partnership.

My Approach I use a person-centered and integrative approach in all of my work, ensuring that therapy is tailored to your individual needs and goals.

Whether using EMDR, Sensorimotor Therapy, Ego State Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy or Exposure and Response Prevention, my focus is on creating a safe and supportive space for you to heal, grow, and thrive. Let’s work together to help you find clarity and strength in your journey.
