I am a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers specializing in trauma recovery, perinatal mental health, and grief counselling.

With 15 years of experience in a diverse range of settings including community counselling, health care, child welfare, and palliative/bereavement care I am dedicated to helping individuals navigate through challenging life experiences with compassion and empathy.

As a Certified Perinatal Mental Health Professional through Postpartum Support International, I am dedicated to supporting individuals and families through their perinatal journey, from conception to postpartum. I address a range of mental health concerns including prenatal anxiety and depression, birth trauma, and postpartum mood disorders. I understand the unique emotional and psychological experiences that accompany pregnancy and new parenthood and am committed to helping individuals build resilience and coping skills through this transformative time.

I utilize evidence-based approaches such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and somatic interventions from Sensorimotor Therapy to help clients process and heal from various types of losses and traumatic events.  I also incorporate Ego State Therapy to address underlying conflicts and promote inner harmony.
