More Than Just My Work: When Iβm not in the office, you will most likely find me researching (with a cat on my lap), nose-deep in a book, cooking or engaged in my home yoga practice. When the weather is beautiful I putter in my garden daily, enjoy long walks with my husband and our dog, and take in quiet evenings around a campfire.
I endeavor to form a warm and genuine therapeutic alliance with all of my clients, where you can safely explore challenging thoughts, feelings and behaviors, develop strategies and skills to improve and maintain your overall well-being, and continue your journey with an expanded, stronger sense of self.
I am a registered social worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers and the Ontario Association of Social Workers. My passion for learning about the intricacies of the psyche and human experience motivated me to earn my Bachelor of Arts (Honours with Distinction) degree in psychology and religious studies from Queenβs University in 2010, as well as my Master of Social Work degree with the University of Windsor in 2014. Prior to entering private practice, my experience was largely centered in child welfare.
